Spinel Padparadscha from Burma, pink-orange mixed of 2.45ct. The tone is mediumdark. Exactly like the 4.45ct spinel, when there is low light is this crystal more in the dark direction than open, however, it opens immediately and very well in daylight. Rich to richintense orange-pink saturation. The cut is cushion ! I really like cushion cuts  This kind of cut for beautiful and / or large pieces is not common ‘ The crown here is also quite high, with good facets, straight step pavilion, beautiful table ... however the tip of the culet is rounded. The light reflection is very good here, there is no window ! However, the clarity is small included and inclusions and cracks are obstacles to the light reflection ! They all are below the table and crown, in the pavilion and are visible face up with eyes. Again, under daylight, most of these inclusions drown in the reflection of this spinel rich to intense rich Padparadscha super color of 2.45ct spinel. Cushion cut, good light reflection, mediumdark tone and small included clarity.
