A nice and affordable example of well formed dark green Epidote crystals along with minor Andradite garnets. Specimen is interesting under magnification. Although crystals are visible to the naked eye, specimen requires magnification (loupe) in order to fully enjoy the structures and colors. The locality is hardly known to the mineral world and hardly any of this material is available on the market which makes it a rare specimen (google search). A wonderful example of Epidote and Andradite from northern Greece. Will be a nice addition to any rock and mineral collection.
