A wonderful example of Andradite Garnet crystals. Garnet crystals have well-defined faces and edges. Specimen sits perfectly on itself for display purposes. Specimen is interesting under magnification. Although crystals are visible to the naked eye, specimen requires magnification in order to enjoy the structures. The locality is hardly known to the mineral world and hardly any of this material from this locality is available on the market which makes it a rare specimen (google search). A wonderful example of Andradite from northern Greece. Will be a delightful addition to any mineral or rock collection.
