A wonderful example from this locality now found only in private collections. Shiny golden well formed Pyrite cubes along with white Calcite and terminated micro Quartz crystals. Specimen weighs a hefty 374 grams and has a nice luster. Specimen is interesting under magnfication, spot and view the micro terminated Quartz crystals and enjoy the Pyrtie cubes from close up, some minor Sphalerite also present. The locality is hardly known to the mineral world and none of this material from this locality is available on the market which makes it a rare specimen (google search). Specimen comes from the historically mined but now closed Madem-Lakkos deposit in Northern Greece. Will be a great and interesting addition to any rock and mineral collection.
