A pretty specimen that displays well, featuring black Schorl crystal surrounded by snow white Cleavandite. The Tourmaline crystal is very lustrous with striations along its length, a triangular cross section, and a sharply formed trigonal termination. It measures 5.5cm high and 2.5cm wide. Bladed Cleavelandite forms a foliated mass surrounding most of the base of the Tourmaline.
This specimen shows in a most dramatic way how beautiful this mineral can be when developed to perfection and in such a highly aesthetic way!
