deep brown diamonds are utterly magical!!

no, there’s hardly any blue diffraction or yellow, all the scintillation appears orange or brown in color, it seems to hold the light in an almost chatoyant manner..

mesmerizing,

strong white/orange fluorescence,
10 feathers in the diamond, 
bruted girdle, 
Huge diameter!

diamond has a very old certification from JCSS - The Jewelry Council of South Africa from almost two decades ago when my dad had this diamond cut and polished - yes I cut this diamond myself! :) a definite must for any diamond history aficionado or diamond certification collector!

one of the biggest round diamonds in my inventory at the moment!
