26mm Mojave Carnelian Bronzed Copper orange cabochon oval 26 by 18 by 2.5mm 17.5ct
From California, Mojave Carnelian is Carnelian adapted in a very sophisticated and high quality process to make this beautiful Specimen. The stone pieces are bound together with high quality bronze or gold resin and coloring agents and then irradiated to produce this wonderful stone. It is a durable stone with a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale. Mojave Carnelian is a new stone but it is starting to be used by many of our A list designers including those on Barney's fine jewelry web-site who set it beautifully with 18 carat gold.
