DENDRITIC OPAL

This type of opal does not display those beautiful flashes of color that opal is famous for, but it does have a fantastic pattern of fern-like dendrites made of manganese/iron silicates  trapped inside the crystalline structure of the white -colored opal with agate, making this an intriquing and unique gemstone. They form as nodules.The dendritic inclusions, and are shaped like trees  with some very interesting patterns.This material was mined in Turkey and the white is a beautiful pearl  white colour .We have slabed this material up so it is ready to polish.
