IGI Certified Natural Rare Untreated Ceylon Blue Star Sapphire.

0.59 Carat with a sharp six ray star. Also known as asterism. This stone has a very good oval cabochon cut and totally untreated/unheated which is very rare for natural sapphires, especially star stones.

Confirmed as untreated on IGI report.

Has a beautiful deep blue colour.

Fully certified and sealed by IGI in Antwerp. The clarity on this stone is also very good. Some small natural inclusions visible as shown in photos. Inclusions are actually needed in the stone to produce the rare asterism in star stones, so inclusions are to be expected. But this stone has particularly good clarity.

A beautiful untreated star sapphire. Its very hard to photograph star sapphires (especially in the IGI blister seal). Looks even better in person.
