Natural Blue Sapphire Black Gold Ring Comet
21k gold ring set with a fiery 4.6ct Sri Lankan blue sapphire.
The unheated blue sapphire has a Royal Blue hue, set in a special alloy of gold.
This ring was nearly crafted in 24k pure gold, but finally took on 21k to allow the creation of a black gold form.
The royal blue sapphire looming in its dark gold body – outwardly the Comet Ring, inwardly the unconscious.
There is no worry that the ring is closed back, since the stone’s fire is from within, and full on.
The sapphire’s velvety blue is rich and saturated, even in daylight. This is best observed in the video.
Photos show the tonal display with indoors lighting and natural light.
In low light the sapphire brings on a surreal sentiment, the relationship of the stone to its gold, black and blue.
There is a beautiful silver lightning-like inclusion that can be only be seen at a certain angle.
This is Primitive Man, prominent and peculiar, Anthropos in stone.
The dark grey body is from its high palladium content, finished with the burnished effect of a timeworn pebble.
Made through a singular vision, its fashion dictated by its stone.
This design will tolerate many finger sizes, presently a size 7.
