This is a nice large Moroccan trilobite on matrix from the Cambrian time, approximately 500 million years ago.

This trilobite has some restoration as it is hard to dig out of the matrix bedrock.

Trilobites were among the early arthropods, a phylum of hard-shelled creatures with multiple body segments and jointed legs.

We purchased this specimen on our recent trip to Morocco where we hand picked this trilobite specimen.
