This is a beautiful and very rare Lightning Ridge Black Opal 18k gold and Diamond pendant. I preformed this Australian black Opal some years ago from rough acquired years earlier and polished it six months later to be sure no crazing was occurring. Finally, I set it in a heavy 18k gold bezel and added a 18k Diamond bale. The uniqueness of this Opal is that the two sides are beautiful and different from each other and it's transparent. This pendant is quite versatile as it can be worn on either side with the diamonds facing front or not on either side. It's like having two pendants in one. The pendant measures 33.5 mm long by 23.5 mm wide and the black Opal weighs 19.50 carat. This truly one of a kind black Opal pendant would be a great addition to any fine jewelry collection or a gift for that someone special.
