Absolutely fabulous Welo opal from the new Beska mine in Ethiopia. Not too many people will have seen opal this bright and packed with color. The prices I'm seeing over on opal auctions is in between $100/ct and $200/ct. for similar material. Even higher.
These photos and the video are not doctored in any way. The stone will actually look better in my mind in person. I do not add color to my photos like I see others doing. If you look at my skin tone you'll notice it's not overly red or the videos and photos are not overly dark as I don't do anything fancy to make the subject look nicer than it is in person. I tried to get shots in the shade and the sunlight to show how the stone responds to different lighting.
This is a killer opal I felt I should post up here for October as it the birthstone for this month. Maybe someone wants something a lot extra special. This is it.
There is no sand or dirt in the stone. It's solid dark base crystal opal. If you hold it up the stone is completely transparent see through but of course with a dark base color which makes the colors really stand out. 5/5 for brightness. It doesn't get any better.
You can check the best highest priced opals on opalauctions.com and see for yourself the prices. Try and study the photos to see which ones would have been color added and which ones perhaps not. The most expensive stone on there I know the guy and he doesn't add color so you can use his stone as well as mine here for a reference. I try to bring the best for the best prices.
