Mali garnet is a rare, brilliant, and durable hybrid garnet variety (grossular-andradite) discovered in 1994, found exclusively in Mali, West Africa. Known for its high refractive index and high dispersion—similar to demantoid—it appears in vibrant shades of yellowish-green, golden-yellow, brown, or green, often featuring exceptional eye-clean clarity.

• Color: The most sought-after colors are yellowish-green and golden-yellow. While rare, pure green is the most valuable, while brown tints decrease value.
