This is a natural unique meteorite that dispalys large impressive olivine crystals with in the iron-nickle matrix.It is believed that is was formed when the molten metal core mixed with silicate magma.The olivine then crystalized from the silicate as it cooled and was forced in to the metal mould where it solidified.

Olivine is named for its typically olive-green color (thought to be a result of traces of nickle, though it may alter to a reddish color from the oxidation of iron.Gem quality material is called Peridot.
