gr 14 This is an Australian party sapphire that we oftheearthgems have found on the central QLD gem fields and have faceted at our lapidary here at the of the earth workshop. Originally jewelers refused to stock these magnificent gems, only wanting customers to buy what they decided to offer {a bit like how they are now forcing artificial stones down everybody's necks!} But you guys and girls out there in the real world have embraced these type of stones with great passion and joy to the point that even some of the more intelligent jewelers have decided to incorporate these beauties into their stock. It is rare indeed if you manage to find two of these stones looking exactly the same. This is due to the colour distribution in the stone which appears to be quite random in both intensity of colour and how much of each colour is present. Mother earth is quite the smart lady! I have tried to display this stone on various angles in the photos and video but only the buyer and their friends will get to see just how beautiful this stone is!

this particular sapphire is predominantly green /yellow but there are occasional flashes of blue it is very clean to the eye which certainly helps this stone to have excellent brilliance!
