This rare Afghan Hackmanite reveals its true magic through a natural color-change phenomenon — subtle, scientific, and mesmerizing.

Stage 1 – Normal Light (Resting State)
In regular indoor or daylight conditions, the gemstone appears soft white grey
Stage 2 – UV (Activated State)
Extreme Florescence state
Stage 3 -When exposed to UV light or strong sunlight, the stone deepens into a richer violet-purple, sometimes with smoky undertones. This transformation happens within seconds.
Stage 4 – Fade-Back Phase (Reversion)
Once removed from UV light, when under extreme white light the color slowly fades back to its original grey white tone over minutes to hours — a reversible and repeatable natural phenomenon known as tenebrescence.
