gr58-this umba valley sapphire while could not be described as a color change, it certainly fits the definition of a color shift sapphire. in the sunlight it exhibits a light bright orange, which then shifts to a deep rich apricot in incandescent light. the color range is to die for,& would be excellent in jewellery. being a sapphire with the hardness of 9 it could tolerate all day - everyday wear.
