This original design was inspired by the Cassini spacecraft photos of the North Pole of Saturn (see photo) that shows a large hexagon with huge storms raging inside. This pattern has a hexagon within the round design on both the pavilion and crown, staggering them such that a double hexagon is seen when viewing through the table. Then 24-ray stars are cut within the hexagons on both pavilion and crown. This stone is very nice for collectors and comes with the original design pattern in all details (cutting angles and index settings used).
Color determines the base value of a gemstone. We report either GIA color codes or Gemworld International color codes or both.
Grading is done per Gemworld International’s grading system. The overall quality grade determines the wholesale value of the stone.
OMG this Tanzanite is so beautiful in cut and colour, I can’t wait to have this made in a ring. Loren was so fantastic from the beginning of the inquiry and right up to the end of delivery. I highly recommend him to any interested buyer that’s after some
