Grade Definitions

1st Grade:

Very slightly included generally surface but removed with preforming. The shape is solid and is suitable for faceting.

2nd Grade

Slightly included which may have deeper inclusions that could remain in the finished stone but do not detract from the finished gemstone. The shape may be slightly unusual or flat but still suitable for faceting.

3rd Grade

Include which will definitely remain when cut, or needs to be sliced to obtain a cleaner stone resulting in lower yield. The shape may be unusual or flat. Suitable for cabochon or facet practice material for beginners.

Corundum or Low Grade

This material is highly included, and non-transparent. Suitable for cabochon, beads, and carving. Can be faceted if you want.

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT:  Due to the nature of rough at times it may be difficult to see inclusions until the cutting process has started. It is the nature of the beast and there are risks involved.

It is assumed that you are aware of and understand those risks. Various lighting conditions will be used to try and show to the best of our ability the inclusions and color. This will in no way determine the final result of the cutting as this depends entirely upon the skill of the cutter.

The rough is Australian, this in itself gives an idea of color please don't expect Kashmir blue.

PHOTOGRAPHS

Where ever possible gemstones are photographed under various lighting conditions with a neutral background. Photos of gemstones are of the original gem for sale. NO STOCK PHOTOS. Photographing gemstones is extremely difficult in duplicating the exact color and details

Video is usually taken under artificial transmitted light.

We try to do our utmost to obtain the most precise results. Please be aware that different monitors may be set to different resolutions or colors may show up slightly differently from monitor to monitor.

COMBINE SHIPPING

Save money on shipping by combining purchases. We do not charge extra for combining items if they are all purchased within the first 7 days of the first purchase. At the time of the first item is purchased, please notify us that you wish to combine shipping.

SHIPPING

We ship to most countries and only to a Pay Pal confirmed address. If you have any doubts please contact us for confirmation prior to bidding.

Our standard shipping is via Registered Post with a tracking number. The average delivery time is 10-14 working days.

We will send your purchase within 48 hours of receipt of confirmed payment, except on weekends, public holidays, or postal strikes.

Items are shipped from Greece.

INSURANCE

Although insurance is optional it is recommended. Parcels are sent registered post requiring a signature and tracking number. If you request a different form of sending that does not require tracking and signature, the insurance will not apply even if it is paid for.

There is always a small risk when sending parcels that they may get lost or the contents damaged, in the event that you opt-out of paying insurance you acknowledge and assume all risks whatever they may entail.

In the event you do include insurance, the insurance covers the cost of the items purchased. It does not cover the cost of posting or the insurance cost.

If an item purchased can be replaced with the same or similar then the insurance will cover this option. If the item can not be replaced then a refund will be made only after all other options have been exhausted.

We accept Pay Pal only. Payment to be made within 3 days of purchase.

Out of courtesy if you need more than 3 days to make a payment please let us know we are more than happy to accommodate

While we will provide every opportunity, in the event no arrangements have been made, we reserve the right to cancel the purchase and leave neutral feedback for nonpayment.

CUSTOMS

All matters relating to the importation of our products are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. This includes any Import Duties, Sales Tax, customs fees, etc

RETURNS and REFUNDS

In the event our item is grossly misrepresented in the description, you are entitled to a 100% refund.

In the unlikely event, that the item does not arrive or arrives damaged, and you have taken out insurance then you are entitled to a full refund of the damaged item(s) value.

If you are unsatisfied and wish to return the item you must notify us and return the item within 14 days of receiving the item. Once you notify us that you wish to return the item we will send further instructions.

Item must be returned along with all original packaging sent with a tracking number so that you can track that I have received it.

Buyer will pay for return shipping, once the item is received and nothing is missing the refund will be made through PayPal ONLY, less shipping (free shipping fee of $12 will be deducted from the total refund), and PayPal refund fees.
