Nice example of lustrous metallic black Hematite micro crystals on matrix. Micro crystals are on several parts of the specimen. Specimen requires magnification (loupe) in order to fully enjoy the interesting micro-lamellar crystal structures. A wonderful example of Hematite from Sicily. This is not so much of an aesthetic specimen, but a wonderful example of Hematite from a hard to find locality. It would be a great addition to any rock and mineral collection
