Wonderful example of rich blue linarite. Linarite is not a common mineral. Linarite from this locality is considered to be very rare because not only hardly any of this material is available on the market but also because the small mine is hard to find “lost” in the heavily forested hills. With a partly collapsed entrance and the main tunnel full of water, mining activity is extremely rare. This is not so much of an aesthetic specimen, but a wonderful example of an extremely hard to find mineral specimen. Will be an impressive addition to any rock and mineral collection.
