39mm white peach Scolecite cabochon - drop pear shape 46ct 39 by 31 by 7mm slight imperfection (a 3mm gauge) on bottom surround - does not affect the integrity of the stone, but needs pointing out - most people won't even notice it. the stone is unpolished on the underside.

Scolecite is a beautiful stone found in India, with a stunning silky striated luster. It is found near Pune in India. However it is more popularly known by mineral collectors for the beauty of the specimens. But we are lucky to have it cut in to cabochon, and even pairs - as we have also listed. The hardness of Scolecite is 5 to 5.5mm and it is a light stone - so large stones can be worn as earrings!
