46mm Pair white peach Scolecite cabochon - drop pear shape 46.25ct each stone - good for earrings 46 by 24 by 6mm - these are large stone but light enough for a beautiful pair of earrings - and impossible to find like this! there is a difference of 1mm in the depth of the stones and a slight difference in the dome shape, that a good jeweller can manage when setting.

Scolecite is a beautiful stone found in India, with a stunning silky striated luster. It is found near Pune in India. However it is more popularly known by mineral collectors for the beauty of the specimens. But we are lucky to have it cut in to cabochon, and even pairs - as here. Please see our other beautiful single cabochon listed. We really have sourced and cut the best available. The hardness of Scolecite is 5 to 5.5mm and it is a light stone - so large stones can be worn as earrings!
