Sometimes in the gem industry in India - where we purchased these from - the rough gemstones prior to cutting areenhanced in ahigh grade molecular process called ‘dipping’ - which enriches the color. I am pretty certain these have gone through that process. Please note that it is not like mass dying of ready cut beads inlarge vats, which the Chinesedo. It is a far better quality process.We have tested the color on these and the results were verygood, butI would still recommend that as a precaution,before using them, purchasers should put the beads in very hot water for a few minutes andthen dry them out just in case there is any color bleeding.
