This spinel is a True-Blue color ! There is no green modifier or else, just Blue ! Fore sure there are some cobalt and this make a very rare Spinel '
Neon-Blue cobalt spinel from Vietnam are very famous because the color is very glowing very saturated - open color ' and price could reach x000 / ct even if there are included !
This one is not from Vietnam. I think Africa but nor sure. The tone is dark ! that's mean that the color is not "open" and under some kind of lightning condition, this stone appears like a dark near black Cristal. But under the good light condition, as you can see in video or picture, it's really a Blue color and of an RichIntense Intense saturation ! And the fire are present all around the crown and in a part of the pavilion ' That's mean the cut is good ! There is a small window, a small extinction of fire just below the table but it's not "too bad". Nice fire really ' . Not exactly centered culet, primitive factets all around and symmetrie of the shape (round) could be considered as oval....(not very good).
The clarity is just VVS, there is no visible inclusion or crack or scratch face up and all around ! Very good quality. I just noticed a small chips in one facets immediately below the girdle, somewhere. Not visible face up for sure 100%.
I estimated a quality like this one for 500$ / ct so 790 for the stone. Maybe I am too high maybe too low (good deal?). All have to make own opinion.
I say it again, true-Blue richIntense saturated, Dark tone, of a good cut and VVS clarity quality !
