Auction #757706
Sale is for three stones.
2.59 ct Pink No heat certified natural sapphire.
Auction #1100275
Fine gem grade tanzanite 22.28 carats True D block color.
Indicolite is the blue color variety of the tourmaline mineral elbaite. Its typical color is a deeper - almost neon - blue than other blue gems such as aquamarine and blue topaz. ... All elbaite specimens are strongly pleochroic meaning that they show stronger or even different colors when viewed from different angles"I get excited sometimes when I get to list stones such as this. Very rare blue indicolite tourmaline. This is the rare color blue collectors want where the center of the stone is blue and the outside is green. At 27.15 carats it is an amazing looking stone.
I took photos in shaded light and some under incandescent. The natural light photos I liked better but the blazing reflection was too much even with an overcast. In full sun outside this rock looks unbelievably beautiful. I tried to get a variety of shots trying to show different angles to try and give the full idea about the stone. Sorry for fingerprints.
What a stunning pendant stone it would make. Or a giant ring stone.
I've seen this type tourmaline listed from Brazil as Paraiba which I highly doubt. Prices on material like his is $300/ct wholesale. You won't even see it available anywhere in loose stones anymore it goes straight to high end retailers and expect to pay big for high end gem grade such as this.
Shipping is upgraded to DHL express when you pay standard rate.

Why are users outbidding themselves?
When a bid is placed, this is the maximum amount a user is willing to bid for the product. Our system will then automatically bid on that users behalf, incrementally increasing the bid to maintain their position as the highest bidder, up to the specified maximum.
When there is an icon indicating 'Auto Bid,' it means our system is actively placing bids for the user based on their maximum bid. This may appear as if users are outbidding themselves, but it's simply a result of the system updating the bid to reflect the users maximum limit.
