GR 83 This is an Australian party sapphire that we oftheearthgems have bought from a Gem Rough Dealer at the Gemfest which normally happens every year on the central gem fields of QLD. While at first glance it appears to be a blue sapphire when moved to different positions it will have green and yellow highlights sparkling from the gem and being just over a caret it's quite the eye catcher. Would go great in a ring  perhaps with two diamond shoulder stones or perhaps a small pendant. or just leave it alone and have it on your bedside table to either admire or to meditate with before going to sleep or waking up. My wife and myself have many on our bedside tables just for this purpose {it helps if your a cutter!} and they certainly put a sparkle in our day. I've never tired from having them around and have been doing this for many ,many years!
