Emerald in large sizes is exceedingly rare, much rarer is a large size combined with a luscious velvet green, breathtaking glow, and coveted Muzo origin.
Further adding to the stone’s rarity and value is the fact that it has been spared heavy treatment with only F1 (Minor) colorless oil clarity enhancement as confirmed by the GIA Emerald Report.
This is a stone that can command five to six figures in luxury retail stores; fortunately, cor gems doesn’t do retail.
Through our exclusive contracts with suppliers, we are able to deliver our customers the very best in quality and price.
Best of luck to all the bidders.

FAQs
What is cor gems?
Cor Gems is a gemstone dealer headquartered in Whitby, Canada. We specialize in Paraiba tourmaline and red spinel. We also have operations in Thailand. We started by supplying jewelry manufacturers with loose gemstones and diamonds. We expanded into doing custom orders for clients and are currently focusing on bringing our superior customer service to the world of e-commerce.
Our logo is stylized as cor gems; it’s entirely lowercase because we believe in no-frills simplicity. Buying a gemstone should be an easy process, and cor gems strives to achieve just that with superlative quality gems, industry-best prices, and unparalleled customer service.
How are our cor gems’ prices so low?
We achieve our industry-best prices by sourcing directly from miners and cutters. In addition to delivering value to our customers, eliminating business intermediaries in this manner allows us to provide our suppliers with fair compensation.
Does cor gems take custom orders?
Yes! We specialize in making our customers’ dreams come true. We can source virtually any gemstone from Argyle pink diamonds to pigeon’s blood red Burmese rubies to royal blue Kashmir sapphire. If it exists, we can get it to you – and we can get it to you for a better price than anyone else can. Guaranteed.
We can also source rough gemstones and have one of the cutters from expansive network cut it to your exact specifications. Whether you want a large number of tourmaline beads for jewelry making or are looking to turn an exceptional ruby rough into a world-class addition to your collection, we have access to cutters from around the globe to match your exact requirements.
From budget cutters in Thailand who can do decent work for $1/CT to AGTA-winning masters, our network is one of the biggest and best on Earth.
What’s the cor gems story?
My name is Muhammad Ali. I am the CEO of cor gems. I am obsessed with two things: gemstones and customers!
My gem career began when I was fifteen years old. It was a sunny summer day and I was at a garage sale with my mother. There was a dollar bin full of books on everything from astronomy to equine studies, but it was the book on gemstones that piqued my interest.
I was amazed by the historical significance, the rarity, and above all the beauty of these treasures from mother nature. I read every single page cover to cover but it wasn’t enough! I read my way through every book on gems at both my school and public library!
I realized I had to get my hand on the real thing. I turned to the internet purchased some stones online. I was disappointed by how much duller the stones were compared to the pictures in the listings.
It occurred to me that if I was disappointed with my purchase that other customers must be just as disappointed. I began researching gemstone suppliers. Although gems are mined everywhere from Madagascar to Myanmar, almost every gemstone passes through Thailand at one point or another.
Whether it’s to be cut, certified, or sold, the majority of the world’s fine gemstones pass through the Thai border before reaching their final destination. I reached out directly the Thai cutters and built up our Rolodex of contacts. After years of purchasing as a collector and supplying local manufacturers, I had finally achieved the supplier base that allowed me to take cor gems international.
Fast forward to today and cor gems is an international powerhouse with customers on every continent except Antarctica.
None of this would have been possible without my hardworking team, my supportive family, and above all, my amazing customers.
Thank you,
Muhammad Ali – CEO, Cor Gems

Why are users outbidding themselves?
When a bid is placed, this is the maximum amount a user is willing to bid for the product. Our system will then automatically bid on that users behalf, incrementally increasing the bid to maintain their position as the highest bidder, up to the specified maximum.
When there is an icon indicating 'Auto Bid,' it means our system is actively placing bids for the user based on their maximum bid. This may appear as if users are outbidding themselves, but it's simply a result of the system updating the bid to reflect the users maximum limit.
