THIS PIECE IS IRISH AND FROM THE 1800'S CIRCA. UNDER GLASS SIMPLY MOUNTED AND IN VERY GOOD CONDITION CONSIDERING IT IS ABOUT 200 YEARS OLD! READY TO BE DIPLAYED BY YOU. THE FRAME IS NICE THICH WOOD ADDED LATER BUT VERY NICE, THE SURFACE IS PLAIN WHICH LEAVES IT OPEN FOR ETCHING IF YOU WISH TO ADD TO THE ANTIQUE DESIGN. IRISH HAVE FAVORED BUTTERFLIES FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS. BUTTERFLIES ARE SAID TO BE AN AID IN THE COMMUNICATION WITH OUR LOVED ONES.
