The shade of this Citrine is exquisite - some pieces in the parcel have a hint of reddish pink in them too - almost reminiscent of Padparadscha Sapphire.
Citrine is routinely heat treated. It is heated from the gemstone amethyst and when heated it turns this awesome golden shade. The heating of gemstones has been done for may thousands of years.
