Diffused sapphire is a genuine natural sapphire. Some colorless sapphires can be heated with titanium, as the blue color in sapphires originates from titanium and iron bonds. Heating with titanium forms new bonds, creating a color depth of about 100 microns.

Note: This stone is verbally certified by the GFCO (Swiss lab) as a diffusion burmese sapphire. To obtain a hard copy of the certification, the buyer will need to pay the certification cost directly to the respective lab, which is not included in the stone's price.
