GIA Certified Natural Rare Untreated Star Sapphire.

1.72 Carat with a sharp six ray star under spotlight. Also known as asterism. This stone has a very good oval cabochon cut and totally untreated/unheated which is very rare for natural sapphires, especially star stones.

Fully certified by GIA confirming stone as natural and untreated.

Has a bright blue colour.

The clarity on this stone is also good. Some inclusions visible as shown in photos. Inclusions are of course needed in the stone to produce the rare asterism in star stones, so inclusions are to be expected. But this stone has particularly good clarity with a rough, uncut base.

A beautiful untreated star sapphire. Its very hard to photograph star sapphires. Looks much better in person.
