With its multitude of tiny crystals, drussy posesses a reflective surface reminiscent of sugar or snow. Drussy gets its name from the word "druse," which refers to a rock surface (usually a cavity) covered with tiny crystals, such as are found inside geodes or in larger pockets of mineral deposits.

METAPHYSICAL MEANING:

Drusy is also spelt as drussy, druse, druzy, drusies, is tiny quartz crystals forming on the surface or within other stones. When ground water carrying dissolved silica is forced into a porous area of the rock, rapid cooling often occurs, causing formation of tiny crystals on the surface on in cavities of the rock. The clear crystals often form on top of previously deposited minerals. Drusy gemstone is great in jewellery such as rings, pendant and earrings.
