Stones from the 90s when there was mining in this area. As far as I know all mines are closed since longtime. The Sapphires were found in a basaltic rock. All stones from this area were routinely heated (normal heat only):

Origin: Kanchanaburi/Thailand. Not far from the famous bridge over the River Kwai
