Charoite at its most beautiful. The swirling patterns are due to due to its fibrous crystals being arrayed in complex interlocking patterns. With colorings and markings reminiscent of a piece of fine art, Charoite reminds us of a Van Gogh painting. Wonderful! Charoite possesses the most wonderful chatoyance or pearly markings in lay mans' terms. This is what makes it so glorious and unusual.
