Beautifully cut and clean material. This is Mozambique purple garnet. Really lights up with reflection from proper cutting according to GIA standard cutting angles for this material. Every stone has different angles in which they must be cut because of the different refractive indexes. You have to figure out thje proper angles for every facet so they reflect light back out of the face of the stone. Otherwise the stone will always be dark or will show window which is not nice. This takes away precious carats when cutting and the final stone is smaller making it more valuable per carat than a similar sized stone of the same material cut for weight instead of beauty.
Upon quick examination I didn't notice any inclusions present.
