Australia produced very little turquoise. Ammarroo in Australia’s Northern Territory was mined during WW2 by the Australian Army. The Army were looking for highly explosive white phosphorous for tracer rounds in ammunition manufacturing.

All of our natural Australian turquoise was sourced from this mine during this era of old timer mining. This collection itself is more than 80 years old.

We are a reliable supplier for this natural Australian gemstone. We are cutting this material every week and creating jewellery with our turquoise.

The material has been graded over decades of cutting and exploring its origins. It is all of lapidary grade, each nugget and every slab has been stress tested.

We use absolutely no stabilisers, resins, hardeners or backing whatsoever with our natural Australian turquoise. It is a 100% natural Australian product.
