Cushion rectangular cut with beautiful pinkish orange the lab said for color. I love the color tone and looking for inclusions I'm not seeing anything. Looks like VVS or better under magnification. Normally high end stones of this clean nature are seldom found. Especially in an unheated untreated gem with quality cut and polish for highly reflective stone.
Origin of this stone is DRC formerly the Belgian Congo. Normally the miners sell to the brokers who charge tax and the cost goes way up to market value when buying through government sources. There are other ways to get the stones to market and that way is to smuggle the best rough out to Tanzania and Rwanda where buyers are waiting in low cost hotels. The stones are then shipped to Sri Lanka and Thailand to be cut and sold on the international market.I try to keep costs down for my clients while bringing them stones one or two steps above the rest and for a price you can't beat or even meet in most cases.

Why are users outbidding themselves?
When a bid is placed, this is the maximum amount a user is willing to bid for the product. Our system will then automatically bid on that users behalf, incrementally increasing the bid to maintain their position as the highest bidder, up to the specified maximum.
When there is an icon indicating 'Auto Bid,' it means our system is actively placing bids for the user based on their maximum bid. This may appear as if users are outbidding themselves, but it's simply a result of the system updating the bid to reflect the users maximum limit.
