Chondrite Meteorite
L5-6 S3 W3
After having obtained all the analytical data, and after having carefully evaluated them, taking into account the geological and meteorite standards mentioned in references, the the analyzed sample is identified as L-chondrite meteorite, obtaining MgO/MnO ratios in this chemical group.
Petrography; The sample shows chondritic texture, and it is composed of recognizable chondrules up to 0.7 =- 0.5 mm (n=15) in diameter, chondrule fragments and mineral clasts. The matrix ( 35 vol%)
Is composed of compacted fine dust. Olivine is zoned, with undulatory extinction and irregular fractures. Pyroxene shows exsolution. Metallic phased occupied 12vol%, and it is composed of FeNi
(kamacite sand minor taenite), granular. Accessory is troilite and opaques
For all these reasons, the analyzed sample for their characterizations and analysis have yielded
POSITIVE results in its compatibility for meteorites, being in this case, an ordinary chondrite,
Type L5-6 (based on XRF data, diameter of chondrules and Fe content), with a shock degree S3 (based on planar deformation and irregular fractures in silicates) and with a weathering degree W3 (based on iron oxidation and silicates alteration.

Quick shipping with FedEx to the US. The stone has the polarization expected with real Iceland spar. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Quick shipping with FedEx to the US. It was well packaged. The one I received did have a small crack and chip in the lip, but stuff like that is expected with a natural material like this. I'm happy with my purchase.
