Purple Kammererite Crystals Cluster Specimen

Turkey

Kämmererite is always found in fractures of ultrabasic rocks, usually with chromite ore. The only known locality for transparent crystals is the Kop Krom chromite mine in the Kop Daglari Mountains of Turkey.
