IRONSTONE WITH WHITE OPAL ROUGH
We have selected this specimen of ironstone from the boulder opal fields as it has a silica [opal] in it..This specimen was mined in the Opal boulder fields in Queensland so there is white opal embedded in the chocolate ironstone. This chocolate ironstone takes a great polish and it has some incredible patterns with white opal embedded in it.
We have taken a picture with the stone wet.
