RUBY CRYSTAL. This is a natural ruby mined in Burma and has had heat only to improve the colour. it would not cut a clean stone but it is ideal as a specimen or as a natural crystal for setting in jewelery. Note we have taken some pictures under a bright torch light which makes the stone appear more pink/purple but it is more reddish.
