This stone was cut from top elbaite tourmaline var indocolite species. The crystals were a lighter greenish blue when looking at the side of the crystals. Looking into the face is a tint deeper green in color and looking down the length of this stone you'll see a brighter more green blue color than compared to looking into the table which is looking down the c axis of this stone. You see that this is mostly an open axis color stone. Very beautiful and sought after colors. Depending upon the angle you are looking the color varies a little between blueish green and a more rich green. I think if you study the videos and photos they will show this.
This type of tourmaline typically sells on the wholesale market for $300/ct for cut stones and to buy the rough get a hotel in Rwanda and wait for the smugglers or go through the government brokers and pay $300/gram. I prefer the smugglers.

Why are users outbidding themselves?
When a bid is placed, this is the maximum amount a user is willing to bid for the product. Our system will then automatically bid on that users behalf, incrementally increasing the bid to maintain their position as the highest bidder, up to the specified maximum.
When there is an icon indicating 'Auto Bid,' it means our system is actively placing bids for the user based on their maximum bid. This may appear as if users are outbidding themselves, but it's simply a result of the system updating the bid to reflect the users maximum limit.
