This is a Calymene Trilobite from Morocco and is
around 360 million years old. Trilobites are
probably the second-most famous fossil group after
the dinosaurs.
They first appeared in the Cambrian period (570
million years ago) and disappeared in the mass
extinction at the end of the Permian period about
250 million years ago.

NegativeI’m going to our college archeology department to get this checked out. Seems too clean to be real. As mentioned, it is a fake cast large amounts of glue and fake scratches gave it away. Notice how the scratches don’t follow a pattern.
