Dioptase, cuprite, calcite, and quartz frequently occur together as an association of secondary copper minerals, most notably from Tsumeb, Namibia, and the Kaokoveld Plateau in Namibia or the Republic of Congo. Dioptase is an intense emerald-green to bluish-green hydrated copper silicate that forms in oxidized zones of copper deposits.

Rarely seen in cabochon - grab this as it so hard to find!
