THIS IS A NATURAL MEGALODON TOOTH FOSSIL WHICH IS A GREAT SPECIMEN.THIS FEROCIOUS SHARK WAS KING OF THE OCEAN 5 TO 15 MILLION YEARS AGO IN THE MIOCENE AND PLIOCENE PERIODS.SOME OF THESE CREATURES GREW TO OVER 50 FEET LONG AND WEIGHED MANY TONS.THE LARGEST TOOTH FOUND TO DATE MEASURED 7 INCHS LONG.THIS TOOTH WAS FOUND IN CAROLINA IN THE USA BY SCUBA DIVERS.APP 10,000 TEETH A YEAR ARE DISCOVERED BUT ONLY 5 TO 10 % ARE INTACT-GREAT COLLECTORS ITEM.
