Kenyan tsavorite. 3.15 ct stone. Beautifully cut for full reflection. Has great reflection in the full face of the stone. Stone is eye clean but visible inclusions present inside at 10 x magnification.
I've taken photos and video in different lighting to show differences. It's a medium toned garnet medium green tone.
These are natural untreated stones. Garnet is rated good for everyday wear. It has a hardness of 7.5 and you should clean with a soft toothbrush and soapy water. Ultrasonic units are OK for garnets.
Kenya, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, India, Afghanistan and Brazil are all known sources for Tsavorite. Kenyan sources being the most favored.
