LABRADORITE
MADAGASCAR
DRILLED
BEAUTIFUL ORANGE BLUE GREEN COLOUR
Spectrolite is a hard and rare variety of labradorite feldspar. Spectrolite has a specific gravity of 2.69 to 2.70. The variety is noted for iridescence of spectrum colours from blue to red. Finnish geologist Aarne Laitakari (1890—1975) had described the peculiar stone and sought its origin for years when his son Pekka discovered the deposit at Ylämaa in south-eastern Finland while building fortifications there in 1940. Although labradorite is found in Labrador, Norway, Madagascar and Russia in addition to Finland, the Finnish stone exhibits a uniquely vivid iridescence. The name spectrolite was given to it by the elder Laitakari; it is a commercial name and is properly used only of gemstone-quality material from the Ylämaa deposit.

Why are users outbidding themselves?
When a bid is placed, this is the maximum amount a person is willing to bid for the product. Our system will then automatically bid on behalf of the bidder, incrementally increasing the bid up to the maximum to maintain their position as the highest bidder.
When there is an icon indicating 'Automatic Bid', it means our system is actively placing bids for the bidder based on their maximum bid. This may appear as if bidders are outbidding themselves, but it's simply a result of the system updating the bid to reflect the bidders maximum limit.
