Local Indigenous had records thet the meteorite shower took place and around 26 craters ,caused by metiorite impact are in this area.
The impact is estimated to have been 4,200 to 4,500 years ago
The average composition of the Campo del Cielo meteorites is 6.67% Ni, 0.43% Co, 0.25% P, 87 ppm Ga, 407 ppm Ge, and 3.6 ppm Ir, with the remaining 92 to 97% being iron.
Certificate Authenticity included
this meteorite was treated to prevent rust formation, but Campo is up to 97% iron so they will rust if you do not take care of them.
To prevent rust formation you can keep them in a dry environment and once a time con can clean the pieces with a soft rag.
